One of the biggest bonuses from the day is the feedback from the team of the efforts of the black belts on the day. The SDTKD coaching volunteers comprised Dylan Leonard, Ryan Woolley, Pauline Martin & Anas Belmaati, the 2 latter who were on their 1st day out with such a responsibility. There was also an outstanding effort behind the scenes from junior black belts, parents & players alike.
SDTKD took thew opportunity to enter some players in multiple divisions for player development reasons, and we would like to mention one in particular who picked up a staggering 3 national Titles – Kim Rena was active in A Class, B Class, PeeWee & Cadet, proving why SDTKD coaches were confident in her ability to make a big impact.
Thank you to the Irish Taekwondo Union for this event, the feedback has been excellent.
Finally, a massive personal thank you from Head Coach RT, who was ‘otherwise occupied‘ on this very special personal day. There was good news reported all round, and it was refreshing to hear of the serious club efforts from the organisers, players & coaches.
Next Up, Irish International Challenge Cup – January 12th
