South Dublin Taekwondo Athletes rubbed shoulders with a World Renowned athlete and London Olympian Martin Stamper from Team GB at a training seminar in Lisburn at the weekend. Upcoming athletes David Phelan, Jack Woolley, Aoibhe Thornton and SDTKD Assistant Coach Anas Belmaati made the trip up north to an event recommended by Coaches to assist their training & development and prepare for upcoming events. The seminar consisted of dynamic kicking drills to compliment the fast paced and modern style of Olympic Taekwondo. The 3 athletes are in action soon with tournaments identified to enhance their development- a trip to the UK for David, Jack fights in Serbia next weekend & both Aoibhe & Jack are set to compete in the Croatian Open in the beginning of November. Coach Anas willow hosting his team mates in a return home as lead Coach at the Moroccan Open in November.
